Safety & Health
Job safety is a top priority for our Association. Not only do we share information and provide training sessions for our union contractors to increase safety on job sites, but we support legislation and polices that promote the health and safety of the workers in our industry.
Industry Advocacy
With strength in numbers, the Association streamlines union negotiations and has lobby power to champion legislation that positively impacts our trade and our members – from workplace safety to fair wages, from environmental improvements to job creation. We’re advocates for our members on the local, state, and national level. We initiate and support positive changes that will improve the lives of our hard-working members and their families.
Professional Networking
As a member, you become part of a diverse group of contractors in Southern Illinois who come together to share best practices and learn from each other. The Association also works to connect our members with the industries and businesses in our region that seek skilled union labor.
Social Connections
The Association schedules quarterly social events for members and their families, giving them another way to connect with each other while having some fun, too.
